Gina Mitten is a lifelong Democrat and dedicated public servant who grew up in University City where she attended the public school district. After living in Los Angeles for several years, she returned to St. Louis and juggled work, single parenting, and education—earning degrees with honors from St. Louis Community College, UM-St. Louis, and Washington University School of Law. Her passion for local community led to roles on the Richmond Heights City Council and eventually eight years in the Missouri House of Representatives, where she held leadership positions and championed ethics, environmental protection, education, and government accountability. She has remained deeply involved in Democratic organizing and continues to advocate for her community.
